Earlier this month, the Nylas team had the pleasure of attending Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal. As in-person conferences are steadily on the rise, this was the perfect opportunity to connect face-to-face with the diverse group of innovators, partners, and customers that Web Summit attracts. From engaged booth attendees to jam-packed breakout sessions, Nylas truly showcased our value and left a lasting impression.
“Web Summit was a fantastic conference, and what a way to kick off Nylas’s entry into EMEA!? said Nylas Sr. Customer Success Manager, Nick Barraclough. “Getting to be around so many excited people and interesting companies was a real energizer.”
Day 1 started off strong as the team spoke with prominent Fortune 500 companies, and throughout the event, our booth had continuous traffic from prospects and partners alike. We were placed perfectly between two stages & the entrance to the pavilion, and if it wasn’t the friendly Nylanauts sparking conversation with attendees, it was the Pastéis de Nata and Nylas swag that did the trick!
Our breakout sessions on Day 2 and 3 were true highlights of the conference as well. Christine Spang, Nylas founder and CTO, shared insights with attendees on boosting productivity and how to leverage software to scale development teams. With 3 standing-room-only sessions, it was clear that Nylas’ momentum is growing. Immediately following the session, event attendees stopped by the booth to ask targeted questions about their specific scheduling and email delivery needs.
People were seeking us out and excited to learn more about our API solutions. Our brand recognition over the course of the last year has increased significantly and it was evident as visitors expressed a need to streamline scheduling workflows and increase productivity. While Nylas Scheduler was a huge topic of discussion, it was clear that attendees spanning a wide range of industries and use cases had additional challenges that Nylas can address, including unlocking communications data, e-commerce solutions, and more.
Special thanks to the Web Summit team for the warm welcome and exciting event. The Nylas team is looking forward to reconnecting with everyone for Web Summit 2022. If you weren’t able to make it live in Lisbon, check out our sessions featuring Nylas founder and CTO, Christine Spang below.
